Zaatar and sujok manakeesh Great options - served Very very yummy and quick service

Excellent cheese bread as other reviewers have said. Service was quick and friendly. I also ordered the meat bread and grabbed some delish aloe drinks in flavors I hadn't had before including honey ginger and asian pear.

I'm giving them a four stars instead of five simply because their service is not the friendliest. It has changed for the better in the last couple of years, but it seems that anytime you have a larger order they act like it's an inconvenience. I only buy one item from the store and it is the oregano pies (Manaeesh) and I only buy them there not from another bakery in Dearborn is because for some reason after they're frozen, there's are still good when you heat them two months later. The others don't tend to freeze as well. If it wasn't for that one item, I probably would get everything else from down the street.

I used to come here as a child with my family and have not been here in years. I moved out of state and have not come to this place again in years and recently just came again while visiting family members in the area. I have to say that I missed the sandwiches here. The chicken shawarma is great and the garlic sauce is delicious.. It's not exactly how I remember it as a child, but my memory could be romanticizing what I used to eat as a child more than anything. I will say that the shwarma is better than anything that I have had in Texas especially the garlic sauce. That garlic sauce...its so delicious! I thought that zaatar and cheese bread so nice as well, straight out of the oven. I'm hoping to come again soon!

Okay, this was my second meal at Golden Bakery, and it was FABULOUS! It's all good, but this time I learned about the cheese bread. Za'atar......Za'atar and cheese....cheese and soujouk.....WHOA! Get a bunch and take it home, I bet less than you bought makes it home. Great staff, plenty of specialty groceries. Get there early if you want to take a package of bread home.

Absolutely love Golden. Their food is always fresh, and the quality is top notch. I live pretty far away, but the drive is worth it for their baked goods (especially their cheese bread which I pictured!) Their cheese bread is mouthwatering. Thick layer of melted cheese on a big piece of bread. My favorite treat :) I have tried a few other bakeries around Dearborn, and I have to say Golden remains my favorite. On top of everything, their staff is always friendly and efficient!

Monday special absolutely Wonderful Deal for 5 bucks gets you a Shawarma Fries n Drink really great deal. Got a couple Mixed Beef n Chicken Shawarma fantastic. First visit a few Flatbread Pizza and Meat with Cheese. Super selection of Desserts a buck each see my photos. The addiction be the large Shawarma plate about 2 pounds of Meat sliced off the spit. Both times got the mixed Beef n Chicken comes with Pickles Beers Onions Toum n Tahini Sauce WOWED. This Meat tray could make 8 plus Shawarma. The package of Bread only a buck fifty each. Spotless clean restrooms and fast friendly service has made us new customers. Place open 31 year's and 2nd location on Fort road in Dearborn heights.

Zaater bread from the brick oven with hummus- my latest obsession. I drive past at least a half dozen Arab bakeries to get to this one. This bread is everything it wants to be! Yummm! Everything I've had tastes better than it looks. The cheesy round breads, the hummus, the stuffed grape leaves. They're all fresh and delicious. Minus one star for the freshness of their salads & gyros. I was there one late night and came back the next midday. The same salad was still there as well as some of the baked goods. The baked goods are acceptable but the gyro meat wasn't moving so it was just sitting there drying out. Ew. This zaater bread keeps me coming back though. They're also open long hours.
